Monsooned Malabar is one of the world’s most unique and storied coffees. Grown on the Malabar Coast of India, this Arabica bean undergoes a rare “monsooning” process, where it is exposed to the humid winds and rains of the Indian monsoon season. Over several weeks, the beans swell in size, turn pale gold, and develop an earthy, mellow profile unlike any other coffee.
Our Monsooned Malabar coffee is rich and earthy with a full body and low acidity. It offers notes of toasted grain, spice, and a hint of dark chocolate, finishing smooth with a mellow, aged character. Monsooned Malabar is bold and grounding.

From The Plateaus Surrounding the Snow-Capped Mt. Kenya
Kenya coffee is grown at elevations of 1500m-2000m in volcanic soil. Kenyan beans are grown slowly, allowing time for lots of nutrients to develop in the beans. This may be one of the reasons Kenyan coffee is one of the top 5 best in the world and is known as the “Connoisseurs Cup.” Kenyan coffee is rich and heavy, but clean and crisp. Our Kenyan beans are roasted fresh, elevating the flavours of the beans.
